While what has made us all successful to this point has been our ability to help mass affluent families; Our focus will be on giving back to the families of Durham Region who need a hand up.

To leverage the resources of every member of the board to support local charities through direct involvement. I.e. Raising funds via charity golf tournament for Big Brothers and Sisters.
To shine a light on all the various grass roots charities that may not be able to get the attention it deserves. Help people in the community know about all the different opportunities to give back and help the families within the Durham Region. Focusing on charities where the proceeds will get to the families. Such as Sharon’s Kids.
There is more than one way to help charities that goes beyond just writing a cheque. Through our website and our social media accounts we are going to let people know how they can help and benefits of it. i.e Volunteer opportunities, tax benefits of donating securities, creating legacy through Donor Advised Funds or the different ways of donating through your estate.
My main concern is to preserve and grow capital to provide a legacy for my young adult children, while maintaining a reasonable retirement. Paul analyzed my finances, provided recommendations and assured me that I would be alright. A consummate worrier Paul puts my concerns to rest and is my go-to person when I need assistance and reassurance. These past few years have been fraught with constant change and transition for me and my family. Paul remains steadfast in his support, guidance and consultation. With our present, uneasy state of our economy, ongoing issues within our country and worldwide, Paul remains positive, puts things in perspective, eases my concern and looks after my family’s interests. He is my rock.
I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to provide your sage advice, input and complete assistance in ensuring my Will covers my concerns and handling of my investments. You continue to be my rock in managing my accounts as you have been during this process.
